Hey everyone! We've got some electrifying news to share from the Emerging Engineers Club here at Osseo-Fairchild High School! Our students are currently hard at work on two amazing projects that are sure to rev up some excitement!
First up, we're in the process of electrifying a go-cart! From rewiring to installing powerful batteries, we're turning this classic ride into an eco-friendly speed machine! Our team will be competing against other local High School at CVTC this spring. With electric motors, the possibilities are endless. From adjusting torque curves to fine-tuning regenerative braking.
Thanks to our partnership with CVTC and a National Science grant our students are learning about EV’s first hand. Our school has been awarded an Electric Motorcycle and electric drive system to power our modified go-kart from Volcon ePowersports in TX. https://www.volcon.com
