School will remain in session today until our regular dismissal times. The National Weather Service has forecasted two lines of storms moving through our area this afternoon, making it difficult to determine a safe and appropriate time for an early dismissal.
If you prefer, you may pick up your child or excuse them to drive home at any time between now and the end of the school day.
Please note that afternoon bus routes may be delayed if weather conditions at dismissal (3:25 PM) require it. We will send a follow-up alert if buses are delayed, as well as an additional notification when buses depart, so you can anticipate your child’s arrival time.
We believe this approach is the safest option for our students. All students will remain under the supervision of school staff, and we will follow established safety protocols if severe weather affects our area.
After-school activities are still being evaluated. We will provide an update as soon as possible if any activities are delayed or canceled.
