🎉 Big Congratulations!
Osseo-Fairchild junior Noah Krueger has received early confirmation of his selection to attend the United States Naval Academy’s Summer Seminar (NASS) in Annapolis, Maryland from May 30–June 4!
NASS is a highly competitive national program designed for high school juniors who demonstrate excellence as leaders, scholars, and athletes. With more than 6,000 applicants each year and only 2,400 spots available, this is an incredible achievement.
This honor marks the first official step toward a potential appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy Class of 2031. We are proud to see Noah representing Osseo Fairchild Nation at such a high level!
⚡ Way to go, Noah!

Kayla Velasquez, Osseo-Fairchild's MS/HS Spanish teacher, recently traveled to Guatemala as part of the Board of Directors for the Bucks County Organization for Intercultural Advancement (BCOIA), a nonprofit dedicated to expanding educational access for students and supporting teachers. During the trip, her team delivered more than 700 bags of school supplies to local schools and hosted a professional development seminar in Spanish for over 250 Mayan teachers from the Highlands. Mrs. Velasquez spent the week collaborating with teachers and educational leaders from both the US and Guatemala, as well as visiting rural schools and meeting students to gain valuable insight into classrooms and communities within the country.
She brought these experiences back to her O-F students through real-world connections in the classroom. Her HS Spanish classes explored what school looks like in Guatemala compared to the US, while examining barriers to educational access both globally and within their own communities. Students also received authentic souvenirs—bracelets and lanyards she brought back from the Guatemalan mercados—which helped bring the culture and experience to life in a memorable way!
