🔥 Learning doesn't stop when summer starts! Students are gaining hands-on experience and building valuable career skills through our Summer CTE Learning Opportunities.

The Osseo-Fairchild Technical Education Center offers Introduction to Technology, a high school credit-bearing course that provides students with hands-on experiences in Automotive Care, Computer-Aided Design & Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), Woodworking, Welding, and Machining.

This course gives incoming freshmen and sophomores the opportunity to explore a variety of technical careers while developing valuable skills through real-world projects. An added benefit is that students can complete prerequisite requirements early, allowing them to enroll in more advanced technical education courses sooner in their high school careers.

Exciting to see future technicians and engineers in action! Hands-on learning today is building the workforce of tomorrow.

What a wheel-y great night! 🚲☀️ Our Bike Rodeo brought together young riders for an evening of fun, learning, and adventure. Participants practiced safe riding skills, tested their balance on obstacle courses, and learned important rules of the road—all while having a great time! A big thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped make the event a success. Our elementary summer school students are hard at work learning, exploring, and having fun this summer—and we're looking for your help!

We are seeking donations of snacks to help keep our students fueled and focused throughout their summer school sessions. Items such as granola bars, crackers, fruit snacks, popcorn, pretzels, and other kid-friendly snacks are greatly appreciated.

Mrs. Whelan and recent Yes We Can graduate, Payton Dahl, shared information about our program and Payton's exciting future plans with Project SEARCH. Lotus and Max also demonstrated proper tool usage and the assembly of parts, giving attendees a glimpse into the valuable skills students develop through the program.

Students on our NYC Broadway & Arts Trip experienced the best of New York City through theater, music, art, and culture. From seeing Broadway productions and meeting theater professionals to exploring iconic landmarks, it was a week filled with inspiration, creativity, and fun. OFSD students Brooks Koxlien and Drew Hanson are partnering with the American Red Cross to host a Critical Need Summer Blood Drive on Friday, July 24, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at City Hall.

As part of the Leaders Save Lives program and a National Honor Society service project, this event highlights the power of student leadership and community service.

As a special thank-you, the American Red Cross and Kwik Trip are teaming up this July to reward donors with a free pint of Nature’s Touch® Milk for every pint of blood donated!

We are excited to kick off the 2026 Osseo-Fairchild 10,000 Shot Club Challenge. This is a summer challenge open to all incoming K–12th grade boys and girls basketball players! The goal is simple but powerful: complete 10,000 game-speed shots between Memorial Day (May 25) and Labor Day (September 7) to build skill, confidence, and consistency on the court. Feel free to use the elementary playground basketball hoops as needed. We can always raise and lower the hoops if needed. We currently have two at 10 feet and the other 2 at 8 feet. Please email if you’d like the hoops adjusted. What to Do Sign up here- https://forms.gle/ngmAGnupjVfCBxxD9 We will use this to check in with the athlete/parent/guardian throughout the journey. Shoot daily and keep track of your shots using the official 10,000 Shot Club Tracker. If you miss a day, simply make up the shots another day. All shots should be taken at game speed and from a variety of spots on the floor. If you do not have a passer, you can use backspin to simulate receiving a pass. Shot Tracking Cheat Sheet Use the following estimates to help track your shooting totals: 150 shots = 1 day at a regular basketball camp 250 shots = 1 day at a shooting camp 25 shots = every 15 minutes of individual shooting Verification Parents/guardians should periodically review and sign off on the player’s tracking sheet. Rewards Players who successfully complete 10,000 shots by September 7 will: Receive a FREE 10,000 Shot Club T-shirt Be recognized at a varsity basketball game next season Challenge Dates May 25 – September 7, 2026 Let’s put in the work this summer and get better together!
