Due to this evening’s performance being canceled because of the weather, a previously scheduled high school concert on Monday evening, and limited availability before winter break, we will be rescheduling the 3rd–5th grade music programs to take place during the school day on Tuesday, December 23, at the MS/HS in the Auditorium.
Program Times
3rd Grade: 12:30 p.m.
4th Grade: 1:15 p.m.
5th Grade: 2:00 p.m.
We understand this is short notice and may create challenges with work schedules. Our goal is to ensure students still have the opportunity to perform before our scheduled break, as they have been working extremely hard. For families who are unable to attend in person, the programs will be live-streamed and recorded.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. If your child will be unable to participate, please notify Ms. Monk as soon as possible, as it is important for us to reassign student parts in advance.

Hometown Hero night was celebrated during halftime of the girls' varsity game last night.
Above and Beyond members were asked to choose a community member that they felt was a 'hometown hero' and has positively impacted them. There were 44 different hometown heroes recognized! Thank you to everyone who helps our students grow in all aspects of their lives!

Last week, a group of OFMS 7th grade girls had the opportunity to participate in TRANE Technologies' STEM Launch 10.
This event was a collaboration between CESA 10 and the Women in STEM Program of UW–Platteville. It was a great day for our students to engage in this hands-on activity that gave them the chance to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through real-world problem solving and teamwork.
Stella Apland and Lauren Nordgaard were members of the team that received the highest marks for their final design. Way to go ladies!

World-renowned saxophonist Kenni Holmen spent time chatting with 22 of our jazz band students backstage after last week’s concert in Eau Claire! Students also enjoyed performances by the UW–Eau Claire jazz ensembles and guest artists Jennifer Grimm and Greg Byers.
It was an unforgettable night of music, mentorship, and inspiration. If you haven’t heard Kenni Holmen play, look him up — and be sure to ask these students about the incredible show they experienced! 🎼✨
