🌊 Morning Fun (Swimming & Water Day):

Students in Swimming Lessons: It’s a "Fun Day" at the pool to wrap up our swimming lessons!

Students at School: Get ready for an awesome Water Day right here on school grounds!

🏅 K5–5th Grade Afternoon Field Trip (Lunda Sports Center): Once swimming lessons wrap up and everyone is back around 12:30 PM, our K5 through 5th-grade students are heading to the Lunda Sports Center! They will have an action-packed afternoon featuring:

Basketball & Volleyball 🏀🏐

Pickleball 🏓

Yard Games 🎯

The Climbing Wall! 🧗‍♀️

🎒 4K Students Afternoon Plan:

Our 4K kiddos will stay back and continue their "Fun Day" with exciting activities at the school for the afternoon!

👟 What to Pack (Don't forget!): Please make sure your student brings the following items tomorrow:

Swimsuit & Towel 🩲

Sunscreen 🧴

A change of clothes 👕

Closed-toe shoes 👟 (Required for anyone wanting to use the climbing wall!)

Summer School Update ☀️ Due to poor air quality today, we have made a few adjustments to our summer school schedule to keep everyone safe. 🏊 Swimming lessons will still take place as scheduled. 🌳 Students will not be playing at the park. 🏫 All other activities will be held indoors for the day. Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the health and safety of our students and staff.

🌞 Summer School Heat Advisory Update 🌞

Due to the current heat advisory, our Summer School staff is taking extra precautions to help keep students safe and comfortable.

🏊 Students attending swimming lessons will have limited time at the park and will be dropped off shortly before their scheduled lesson to reduce their time in the heat.

Our staff will continue to monitor conditions throughout the day and make adjustments as needed to prioritize student safety.

We loved seeing so many future Thunder volleyball players learning new skills, building confidence, and having fun on the court. 🧡🖤 If you registered your child but weren’t able to make it today, don’t worry—it’s not too late! Swimming Lessons Update!! As we kick off our summer swimming lessons, our number one priority is ensuring the safety and accountability of every single student. To help us keep track of all children safely, we are implementing the following guidelines for drop-offs and scheduling: 📍 Swimming Lesson Drop-Offs Drop-Off Location & Time: ALL STUDENTS attending swimming lessons must be dropped off at the school building by 8:00 AM. Even if you have made prior arrangements—they must now check in at the school to participate in swimming lessons. Why this matters: Coordinating students who are dropped off randomly at the park or pool makes it incredibly difficult to ensure everyone is accounted for. For your child's safety, please use the school drop-off. Parent Attendance: You are more than welcome to accompany your child to the park and/or take them home once their specific swimming lesson is complete! Please make sure you check in with a staff member if you choose to do this. Lesson Schedules: All individual lesson times are posted just inside the school's front doors, immediately to the left. For quick reference, the general group times are: 8:30-9:15 AM – Green Group 9:30-10:15 AM – Yellow Group 10:30-11:15 AM – Blue Group 11:30-12:15 AM – Purple Group 💪 Strength & Conditioning Reminder Because students will be at the park from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM (and some until 12:30 PM), the school will not be able to coordinate transportation or transitions to Strength & Conditioning sessions. Parents will need to manage individual schedules if their child is participating in both programs. ⚠️ A Note on Safety: We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience these scheduling constraints may cause. However, to ensure we can strictly account for every student in our care, this is the most secure way to coordinate our swimming program.
